Turkey’s leading investment services and asset management group ÜNLÜ & Co was awarded in 3 distinct categories, ‘Best M&A House-Turkey’, ‘Best Investment Bank-Turkey’, and regional ‘Financial Inclusion’,  at the Europe Banking Awards 2021, organized by EMEA Finance, one of the leading financial magazines of the European, Middle Eastern and African markets.

In his statement regarding the awards, Mahmut L. Ünlü, Chairman and CEO of ÜNLÜ & Co, noted the following: “When establishing ÜNLÜ & Co, we aimed to create a successful and leading financial institution with entrepreneurial spirit, that will remain a viable entity one hundred years from now.  These awards serve as a confirmation of the solid steps we have been taking, aligned with our goals.”

Turkey's leading investment services and asset management group ÜNLÜ & Co, was awarded in 3 different categories at the Europe Banking Awards, held for the 14^th time this year, where the best banks and financial institutions of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) are recognized. ÜNLÜ & Co, which won the “Best M&A House-Turkey” award for the second year in a row, was also the recipient of awards in the “Best Investment Bank-Turkey” and “Financial Inclusion-CEE&CIS” categories this year.

ÜNLÜ & Co, market leader in corporate finance and advisory services, executed landmark M&A transactions, such as the sale of Assan Gıda to Kraft Heinz, Tepe Güvenlik to Securitas, and Ekol Ofset to Romvan NV, in 2021, as well as advising Pegasus Airlines on its first issuance in debt capital markets. In addition, as of 2021, ÜNLÜ & Co became the market maker for warrants issued by Goldman Sachs in the Turkish markets.
